The view looking west across the cliffs to Bull Point in the distance is breathtaking. On Sunday, the light was really crisp, with a real stillness to the air, even the cliffs on Lundy were visible twenty odd miles away. The ferns on the clifftops are all turning a warm russet reddy-brown now, which is a welcome colour shift from the greened out grasses of Summer.
The hike across fields and over stiles was worth the struggle, although next time , I think I'll take a lighter painting kit.
