Can you imagine yourself on this beach? Just the calm, lapping sound of the high tide washing across the sand. Warm sun on your back after a day's rowing on the smooth sea. The Ilfracombe Ladies Pilot Gig Rowing Club, provided me with the inspiration for this watercolour and very grateful I am indeed for it. I hope you enjoy it to! "Waiting for feet" - Woolacombe watercolour painting

Today sees the return to the the quiet days at the beach again, pretty much all of the schools have returned and just a few tourists remain on. The beach almost breathed a sigh of relief today after playing host to so many over the Summer. This little 7x5 watercolour seemed to fit the day perfectly.
