This was painted on one of those days when March starts to give signs that Spring is on it's way.The sun was warm, the sea had taken on a more greeny turquoise, and the new shoots of foliage were starting to pop their heads up between the russet browns of the old ferns.
A beautiful day out on the North Devon coast , looking along the cliffs to the old Coastguard Cottages, near Ilfracombe.
