Above Lee Bay
I had a great afternoon with my fellow artist buddy, Paul Kenton and his daughter, up on the hills above Lee Bay looking East towards Ilfracombe, with the coast of South Wales in the distance.
Beautiful light and just one hour to do an oil sketch. This was the result. I painted it on a wider canvas than usual, and really enjoyed the format, it allowed more of a natural feel for the composition.
